Corporate Training

Compliance Training That Sticks

We turn mandatory training into a story your team can't help but engage with. Using the immersive structure of tabletop roleplaying games, we drop you into a living crisis that escalates with every choice they make — so instead of nodding through a checklist, they're thinking, deciding, and learning under real pressure. The result is training that's genuinely engaging in the room and actually remembered when it counts.

Why Tabletop?

Most compliance and disaster-preparedness training runs on the same tired script: a facilitator reads down a checklist, the team nods along and answers "yes, we'd do that," and everyone files out having confirmed nothing. We do it differently. Drawing on the conventions of tabletop roleplaying games, we drop your team into a living scenario — one that escalates, surprises, and reacts to the choices they make. Participants play themselves, the stakes feel real, and "what would you do?" becomes "what are you doing right now?" The result is a session your team leans into rather than endures.

That immersion isn't just for fun — it's what makes the learning work:

The approach isn't a substitute for rigor; it's a delivery mechanism for it. Every session is built around the specific material your team needs to cover and the real systems they're responsible for, then wrapped in a story engineered to keep them engaged. By the end, you've accomplished everything a traditional tabletop would — validated procedures, clarified roles and authority, and identified exactly what's missing — and walked away with insights your team will still remember when it counts.

Psychological Safety

Roleplay creates a fictional frame where it's safe to be wrong. Because the scenario is a story and the dice decide outcomes, participants surface gaps, challenge one another, and explore failure openly — without the fear of looking unprepared in front of leadership or peers.

Scenario-Based Learning

Instead of abstract policy questions, your team confronts a concrete, evolving crisis that unfolds in phases. They make decisions under genuine uncertainty, watch the consequences play out, and discover where their plans break down — exposing gaps that a conventional question-and-answer format would never reveal.

Better Retention

Narrative and emotion are how human memory actually encodes. A crisis your team lived through — with tension, hard choices, and a few unexpected turns — sticks in a way no slide deck or binder ever will, so the lessons are still there when a real incident arrives.

How it Works

Every engagement begins with a conversation about what you need to validate and ends with documentation you can act on. In between, we work closely with your team to build a scenario around your real plans and systems, run it live, and deliver a clear-eyed after-action report — turning a compliance requirement into an exercise your people will actually remember.

Scenario Design

We start by scoping the exercise with your stakeholders: what systems are mission-critical, which procedures need validating, and what "success" looks like for your team. From there we architect a scenario that unfolds in escalating phases, each designed to pressure-test a different layer of your response — from the first anomaly through full-blown crisis. The narrative is custom-written, but every beat maps to a concrete objective, so the story always serves the training rather than distracting from it.

Discovery

Before a single die is rolled, we dig into how your organization actually operates. We review your existing plans, policies, and procedures, identify the gaps and untested assumptions worth probing, and tailor the scenario to your real environment — your people, your workflows, the systems and relationships you depend on, and any regulatory or compliance obligations you operate under. The result is a scenario that feels uncannily specific to your organization, because it is.

Facilitation

On session day, two facilitators run the exercise live: one drives the narrative and the human dynamics, the other steers the technical substance and keeps the scenario grounded in your systems. We escalate deliberately — introducing new complications, adapting to your team's decisions, and letting consequences play out in real time. Throughout, we prompt your people to question one another and think out loud, surfacing disagreements and blind spots that a standard walkthrough would never bring to the surface.

Reporting

After the session, you receive a structured after-action report: a summary of how the exercise played out, a gap analysis tied to specific observations, and prioritized, practical recommendations. We document what held up, what didn't, and the compliance and reporting considerations that emerged — mapped to the obligations relevant to your industry — so the findings double as an audit-ready record. You leave with a clear set of next steps and a roadmap for what to validate before you run it again.
